4. Easter Parade & Bonnet Festival

In a tradition dating back to the 1870s, New Yorkers come out to parade in their most elaborate hats and bonnets on Easter. The city is embellished with 300 large Easter eggs while parade participants are walking along 5th Avenue in their best costumes.

5. Statue of Liberty Museum

You can’t visit NYC without a trip to the Statue of Liberty Museum, especially if you have never been there. Seeing Lady Liberty is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and there are three interactive galleries that tell a story behind the history of the statue.
